Market: United States · Bambu Lab US Store · USD. Checked on October 27, 2026 on Bambu Lab's own US store: new unit, sold and shipped by Bambu Lab, free shipping shown on the product page. Bambu's Black Friday sale runs through December 1, 2026.
Why $1,599 is the number that matters
The H2D AMS Combo is Bambu Lab's flagship dual-nozzle printer bundled with an AMS multi-color feeder. It launched at $1,999. During Black Friday 2025 and the end-of-year sale that followed, Bambu's best price was $1,749, which has since become its everyday "typical" price. Today it is $1,599: $150 under last year's best sale price and $400 (−20%) under the original list. As far as we can trace, Bambu has never sold the Combo for less on its own store.
Being honest about the math: against the current typical price, this is only −9%. The reason we flag it is the floor, not the percentage. Flagship printers rarely drop, and this one just broke its own record.

What two nozzles actually buy you
A single-nozzle printer with an AMS changes colors by purging filament, which wastes material and time. The H2D keeps two materials loaded at once. In practice, that means PETG for a sensor enclosure and TPU for its gasket in one print. It also means a soluble PVA support for an awkward bracket, or two colors with far less purge waste. Add the 65 °C heated chamber, and ASA and PC become realistic for parts that live outdoors or near a radiator.
How it compares to the rest of the Bambu lineup
| Model (Combo) | Black Friday price | Typical price | What you give up or gain |
|---|---|---|---|
| H2D Combo | $1,599 | $1,749 | Two nozzles, heated chamber, laser-ready |
| P2S Combo | $649 | $749 | Single nozzle, smaller build volume, no active chamber heating |
| H2S Combo | $1,249 | $1,399 | Same large H2 frame, but one nozzle |
| H2C Combo | $1,899 | $2,199 | Adds automatic nozzle swapping for more materials per print |
Prices checked on Bambu Lab's US store on October 27, 2026. If you mostly print PLA and PETG brackets, the P2S Combo does 90% of the job for $950 less. Outside Bambu, the Creality Ender-3 V3 Mega is the budget big-format option, but it is open-frame and single-nozzle.
Smart home and Home Assistant
Out of the box, you drive it from Bambu Studio and the Bambu Handy app over Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz). For Home Assistant, the community ha-bambulab integration (installed through HACS) exposes print progress, temperatures, AMS slots and the camera. That lets you trigger a "print done" notification or cut a smart plug after cool-down. Since Bambu's 2025 firmware changes, full third-party control needs LAN-only mode with developer mode on, so plan for that if local control matters to you. New to the setup? Our Home Assistant 2026 guide covers HACS step by step.
Pros and cons
Pros: the lowest price we have seen for the Combo, a true dual-nozzle head, a heated and filtered chamber for engineering materials, mature software, and the same price direct from the brand.
Cons: 31 kg and a big footprint, up to 1,320 W at 110 V, local-only control takes extra setup, and the laser and cutter modules cost extra.
Who should buy, who should skip
Buy it if you design your own parts, such as cases for ESP32 boards, wall mounts for the mmWave sensors in our presence sensor guide, or replacement parts. It also suits you if you need ABS, ASA or nylon to hold up. Skip it if you print a few PLA figurines a month, or if your space is a shelf rather than a workbench. If you'd rather hack hardware than print it, our flashed smart switch test is a cheaper weekend project.
