A targeted upgrade
The Homey Pro 2026 keeps the 2023 formula while doubling the RAM, letting you run more apps (Flows) simultaneously. For large, heavily-equipped homes it's a real win; for smaller homes, the Homey Pro Mini remains the better choice.
Compatibility and responsiveness
The hub supports Z-Wave, Zigbee, Thread and Matter, covering most of the smart home market. Automations are exceptionally powerful and responses are fast.
Limits to know
Two weaknesses remain: Ethernet is not built in (a special adapter is required) and the hub cannot join an existing Thread network.
Verdict
For a demanding, complete smart home setup, the Homey Pro 2026 remains a reference. Expect to pay £399 in the UK.
