Smart-lock maker ULTRALOQ introduced a three-model collection on September 25 combining several approaches to digital entry, reports Residential Tech Today.
UWB, Aliro and Matter
The Bolt Mission uses ultra-wideband (UWB) for approach-to-unlock, while the Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro support Aliro-certified digital wallet credentials (turning a phone into a key). All three models are Matter-certified, so they work across major smart home platforms.
Two complementary standards
The distinction matters: Aliro makes a phone a portable digital key, while Matter connects the lock to home automation systems. The Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro also work with SmartThings automations.
The collection will be available through Home Depot online in October. ULTRALOQ advises checking the exact model and features before buying.
