Ugreen, best known for chargers and accessories, is preparing to enter the smart home market. Ahead of IFA, the company announced its first Matter-compatible smart home products, according to smart home publication matter-smarthome.de.
What this means
Matter is the shared standard backed by Apple, Google, Amazon and Samsung. A Matter-certified device works with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and other platforms without needing a separate "Works with" badge per ecosystem.
