UGREEN HomeAgent Pre-Order: Matter Local AI Hub Sep 2026

The NAS brand wants to be your Matter brain. On September 4, 2026, Homekit News detailed UGREEN’s HomeAgent launch—local AI hubs that combine storage, camera intelligence, and Matter device control—with pre-orders live after a September 1 Gillette Stadium event.

Three hubs

• HA100: core hub; UGREEN cites 26 TOPS local AI and 16GB DDR5
• HA100 Pro: 205 TOPS, faster networking for heavier local models
• MasterAgent MA100: NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000, up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS; developer packages/skills planned

Ecosystem add-ons include SynCare cameras (ID500 Pro / OD600 Pro / OD800 Pro), a Smart Speaker for Uliya, and Gallery e-paper/LCD frames. UGREEN’s own blog says HA100 first-wave shipping starts late January 2027.

Matter reality check

Homekit News highlights a published compatibility list covering Matter products from Aqara, Eve, SwitchBot, Govee, Yeelight, Zemismart and others, plus multi-admin sharing flows (set up in the vendor app, then share into UGREEN). Eve Energy, Motion, Weather, and shutter/dimmer switches appear on the tested list—relevant for Apple Home households that want a second controller without ripping Thread devices out.

Open questions remain: UGREEN has not clearly positioned HomeAgent as a Thread Border Router, and “local-first” still needs cloud paths for registration, remote access, notifications, and updates.

Pricing haze

Deposits from $50 lock “Super Early Bird” pricing advertised as 50% off retail through October 26, ahead of a Kickstarter starting October 27. Final MSRPs are not published—treat the discount as marketing until Kickstarter numbers land.
