Halloween Mode was yesterday’s social clip — today’s notes are about where the car stops. Per Tessie’s 2026.38.5.1 release notes and Teslascope’s version page, Tesla pushed software 2026.38.5.1 on October 13, 2026, with early installs already showing on Cybertruck and Model S/Y/3 fleets.

Arrival Options

  • Choose Parking Lot, Street, Driveway or Pull Over for Robotaxi-style drop-offs
  • Preferences and preferred parking positions persist per destination

That is the owner-car mirror of robotaxi curb behavior: tell FSD how you want the stop to look at home, work or a store instead of accepting a generic curb dump.

Speed Profiles, including SLOTH

Speed Profiles are now available at all times. Tesla adds SLOTH — lower speeds and more conservative lane selection than CHILL. Driver profile has a stronger impact on max speed behavior, and the right scroll-wheel up/down now changes the Speed Profile instead of nudging a precise mph/kph offset. In practice that means fewer micro-adjustments and a clearer “mood” for the stack.

Still on the FSD v14.3 branch

The same notes still carry FSD (Supervised) v14.3.12 and v14.3 Lite language, including the claim that HW4 intelligence is being distilled so HW3 Lite can learn from HW4 V14 offline models. Parking, unparking and reversing capabilities remain part of that Lite narrative. This build is a point release on top of the wide 2026.38.5 / Halloween wave, not a brand-new vision branch.

Rocks take

Arrival Options is the Robotaxi UX landing in supervised owner cars. SLOTH is the profile to try near schools and dense city cores before you trust Halloween Mode to impress the neighbors — and before you assume every HW3 car is in the same boat as AI4.
