Spotify Music Quiz Expands: 2,000+ Artists in 11 Countries

Spotify turns fandom into a game. On October 6, 2026, the company announced that Music Quiz, first tested earlier this year with BTS fans, is rolling out across 11 countries with quizzes for more than 2,000 artists.

What’s in a quiz

• Music trivia on an artist’s catalogue, career milestones and defining moments
• Album cover art reveals
• “Name that song” from an audio preview
• A final score you can share to challenge friends

How to find it

1. Update the Spotify app
2. Play a track from a participating artist
3. Scroll down in the Now Playing view to the Music Quiz card
4. Answer, see your score, share

Who gets it

Premium users aged 18+ in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Nigeria, South Africa and Indonesia. Quizzes are in English at launch, with more artists, languages and markets to come. The rollout is gradual, so it may not appear for every artist right away.

Rocks take

A smart engagement play for Premium. France, Spain and Italy are not on the launch list, so European fans will have to wait.
