Sonos Ace Ultra Available Sep 29: $449, System Audio Swap

Sonos’ second-generation headphone is leaving pre-order. Per the Sonos newsroom (September 1, 2026) and Engadget, Sonos Ace Ultra reaches general availability on September 29, 2026 at $449 (£399 / €449), in black, white, Sand, and Agave.

What changed versus Ace

Ace Ultra adds a Sonos-designed 40mm driver, Adaptive ANC powered by ten microphones (Sonos claims roughly 2× ANC performance vs original Ace), and up to 35 hours with ANC on—about five hours more than Ace, per Engadget. Sonos labels full system linking as Early Access; users must opt in. TrueCinema tuning still applies when pulling from a compatible soundbar.
