Red Magic’s next gaming flagship is almost here. On October 8–9, 2026, the brand revealed the full look of the Red Magic 12 Pro+ ahead of its China launch on October 15 at 14:30 local time.

Design

  • Three transparent finishes: Dark Night, Silver Wing and Ice Blue
  • Flat rear with a completely flush camera module — no camera bump
  • True full-screen display with a ninth-generation under-display front camera; bezels cut from 1.25 mm to 0.96 mm
  • RGB liquid cooling visible through the back, plus air cooling for long gaming sessions

Chip and early scores

Inside sits Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. A Geekbench 7 listing for Nubia NX819J scored 3,677 single-core and 12,679 multi-core, ahead of other phones tested with the same chipset, according to Gizmochina. Red Magic also says the phone is lighter, thinner, narrower and more rounded than its predecessor.

What is not confirmed

Leaks have pointed to an 8,400 mAh battery with 120 W wired and 80 W wireless charging. Those numbers are not official yet. Retail pricing and a global launch date are still missing. Chinese buyers can reserve with a 100 yuan deposit for benefits worth up to 4,300 yuan.

Rocks take

Flush cameras and a see-through cooler are pure Red Magic theatre — and the Extreme Gen 6 chip is the real story for performance. Wait for the October 15 event before trusting battery rumours.
