OnePlus 16: 5.38 million on AnTuTu and a 200MP camera

The OnePlus 16 is coming into focus: the brand's next flagship is confirmed to run Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, and it reportedly scores 5.38 million points on AnTuTu V12, reports 91mobiles.

A reworked camera system

The main camera is said to move from a triple 50MP setup to a 200MP primary sensor (1/1.4-inch), joined by a 50MP ultrawide and a periscope telephoto.

165Hz display and a unique light effect

The display is officially confirmed at 165Hz, with leaks pointing to up to 185Hz in compatible games. OnePlus has also revealed three colors — Tomorrow's Starlight, Dark Forest and Mars Masterpiece — the first of which features an "Interstellar Light Effect," rear lighting that reacts to calls, notifications, music and games.

China first

OnePlus will hold its Gaming Conference on September 28, with the phone expected to launch in China in October. Notably, it would be the first OnePlus flagship not to launch in the West, according to Tech Advisor.
