MediaTek unveils the Dimensity CX C10 Max with up to 55 TOPS for AI laptops

MediaTek has introduced the Dimensity CX C10 Max, the first chip in a new laptop-focused line it calls Dimensity Compute Experiences (CX), reports Technobezz.

The headline figure: the MediaTek NPU 890 is rated at up to 55 TOPS of AI throughput, designed to run Google's Gemini Intelligence features.

Built on 3nm for fanless ultraportables

Manufactured on TSMC's 3nm process, the chip targets thinner, lighter, fanless laptop designs.

Targeting Googlebook

MediaTek positions the CX C10 Max as the flagship of an upcoming premium Googlebook ultraportable, extending the company's Android computing strategy to PCs.

Vince Hu, Senior VP at MediaTek, described the chip as a response to the "next wave of intelligent computing," pairing flagship performance with power efficiency.
