iOS 27.2 first developer beta brings a redesigned Health app with Apple Intelligence

Apple has released the first iOS 27.2 developer beta, which includes a redesigned Health app with new Apple Intelligence features, reports Thurrott.

Apple noted in its release notes that this new app won't launch with the public iOS 27.2 release and will arrive in the U.S. later this year.

A build tailored to the iPhone Duo

Apple skipped an iOS 27.1 developer beta because that version appears reserved for the iPhone Duo, arriving October 16. iOS 27.1 will carry foldable-specific features, including a Dynamic Island and dock moved to the right side of the screen.

A tighter beta cycle

This first 27.2 beta lands quickly after iOS 27's release, pointing to a brisk update cadence at Apple just weeks before its first foldable iPhone ships.
