Two-day battery phones are no longer rare, but HONOR is pushing further. On October 15, 2026 in Riyadh, the brand announced the HONOR X9e Pro, the first “Pro” model in its X Series, built around endurance and durability. The official product page is already live in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
An 11,000mAh battery
The headline is a silicon-carbon battery with a typical capacity of 11,000mAh (10,510mAh rated) — HONOR’s largest yet. It charges at up to 80W with the original charger and can share power through 27W wired reverse charging. HONOR Lab figures: up to 66.8 hours of video playback, 35.6 hours of short videos and 164.5 hours of music. The company also claims six years of battery health, based on 1,000 full cycles.
A 10,000-nit display
- 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED panel, 120Hz
- Peak brightness up to 10,000 nits (in full-screen video only, per HONOR’s footnote)
- 3840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort and 1.3 mm bezels
- Touch that works with wet or gloved hands
Built to be dropped
HONOR claims drop resistance from up to 3 metres (on granite, in its lab) and an SGS five-star drop rating. The phone is rated IP69K (ISO 20653) as well as IP68/IP69, with a claimed 10-metre submersion depth and resistance to hot-water splashes up to 85°C. HONOR itself notes the phone “is not professionally water resistant” and that protection can decrease over time.
Camera and chip
The main camera is 108MP with a 1/1.67-inch sensor, OIS plus EIS rated at CIPA 6.0, 4K video and an underwater camera mode. Inside is a Snapdragon 6 Series chip with 8GB of RAM (expandable to 24GB with virtual RAM), Google Gemini and AI FreeGrip, which moves on-screen controls to the hand you’re using.
Colours: Deep Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black.
Rocks take
HONOR hasn’t given a price or a launch date yet, and every battery, brightness and durability figure comes from its own lab. Still, an 11,000mAh, IP69K phone is an interesting tool for anyone who works outdoors — or who wants a tough handset as a permanent smart-home remote in the garage or workshop. We’ll update this when pricing and European availability are confirmed.
