Open-ear gets a two-SKU refresh. Per Bose’s pressroom, Sport Open Earbuds ($199) and Ultra Open Earbuds (2nd Gen) ($299) reach general availability on October 1, 2026 (preorders from Sep 19).

Sport Open ($199)
C-arm silicone cuff, textured physical buttons, IP54, up to 7 hours plus ~22 hours in the wireless-charging case. Colors: Black, White Smoke, limited Eucalyptus Green.
Ultra Open 2nd Gen ($299)
New driver for deeper bass/higher volume, Cinema Mode via TrueSpatial, Snapdragon Sound / aptX Adaptive on compatible Android, up to 9 hours + ~19.5 hours in case. Limited Cherry Chocolate, Olive Green, Sky Pink besides Black/White Smoke.
A post-launch firmware path is planned for Google Find Hub, Alexa+, and Apple Music shortcuts.
