Aqara Matter Lights at IFA 2026: Floor Lamp T1 + Outdoor H1

Aqara is painting whole rooms Matter-native. On September 4, 2026, the company’s US newsroom (and MacRumors) detailed five new lights at IFA Berlin, all Matter-enabled with Thread and Zigbee dual radios.

The five SKUs

• Floor Lamp T1: ~1,420 mm rod lamp, wall-wash, 18 controllable zones, 2000–9000K, up to 1,000 lumens
• LED Downlight T2: thin retrofit profile; RGB-CCT (16M colors, 2000–9000K) or CCT up to ~1,200 lm; power-off memory
• LED Strip T2: trimmable, 108 LEDs/m, 18 zones per 3 m, gradients / music sync; natural-language Gen-Scene in Aqara Home
• Outdoor String Lights H1: weatherproof patio/deck zones, same wide CCT range, time/environment/sensor triggers
• Permanent Outdoor Lights H1: year-round roofline LEDs, cuttable/extendable, one-tap presets

Platforms

Aqara lists Apple Home, Home Assistant, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, and Homey. Paired with Aqara sensors/switches/hubs, lights can react to presence and routines instead of pure manual taps. Aqara Builder, a creator community platform, was also demoed at the booth.

What buyers still need

Pricing and launch timing were not published at announcement—treat any street guess as speculation. Matter multi-admin and Thread Border Router behavior still depends on your hub (e.g., Hub M3 for Matter-over-Thread accessories in Aqara’s own docs).
