Aqara FP400 Spatial Multi-Sensor Ships With Matter Over Thread

Presence sensors are graduating from “motion blob” to room maps. On September 16, 2026, HomeKit News confirmed that Aqara’s Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400—first teased at CES 2026—is shipping on Amazon in the US, UK, DE, FR, ES, and IT (limited 10% code AQARAFP400 through September 28).

mmWave spatial sensing

The FP400 uses 60GHz mmWave with a 120° field of view and up to 10×8 metre coverage. Aqara says it can track up to ten people, support people counting, and carve custom zones on a 0.5×0.5 m grid, plus an ambient light sensor for illuminance-aware automations.
