Adobe in Gemini: Photoshop and Firefly Inside Chat

Creative suites are moving into the chat pane. On September 24, 2026, Adobe said Adobe in Gemini is rolling out globally across all Gemini plans, letting users call Photoshop, Lightroom, Express and Firefly tools from conversation. The same post expands Adobe for Claude with Acrobat tools, an interactive PDF editor, and a layer-based Express editor. Google’s Gemini blog on September 23 separately listed Adobe among a new Connected Apps wave spanning productivity, creativity and lifestyle connectors.

Setup path per Adobe: navigate to Personal Intelligence, select Adobe under connected apps, and sign in with an Adobe account (or create a free one). Adobe’s footnote says Google/Gemini trademarks apply, responses should be checked, setup is required, and compatibility/availability varies. Do not invent Creative Cloud seat prices beyond Adobe’s “all Gemini plans” and guest-or-account Claude wording. If you already had the previous Adobe connector in Claude, Adobe says it automatically updates to the new plugin.
