Connected garden 2026: smart watering becomes the norm

The connected garden is no longer a gadget: facing drier summers and a lack of time, the French are adopting smart watering, soil moisture sensors and connected outdoor lighting.

Adoption happens step by step: start with a smart watering system on a bed or vegetable patch, then add sensors and, depending on garden size, a robot mower. Connected devices are becoming more affordable, removing the barrier for beginners.
