Garmin fēnix 9 and fēnix 9 Pro Launch: Price, Specs, Titanium Case

Garmin’s flagship multisport line just leveled up. The company announced the fēnix 9 and fēnix 9 Pro on August 25, 2026, and both are available now—brighter AMOLED, more storage, and a Pro titanium case with optional inReach satellite connectivity for athletes who leave cell coverage behind.

US pricing and sizes

US pricing starts at $999.99 for fēnix 9 and $1,099.99 for fēnix 9 Pro. Cases come in 43 / 47 / 51 mm; the 51 mm Pro climbs to $1,199.99 in Android Authority’s pricing breakdown. That puts Pro firmly in premium outdoor-watch territory. Buy it for maps, battery, and durability—not for a third-party app store experience that Garmin has never pretended to chase.

Display, silicon, and the Pro titanium case

fēnix 9’s AMOLED is described as twice as bright as its predecessor, with 50% more RAM versus fēnix 8, 64 GB storage (2×), map panning up to 30% faster, and dive rating to 40 m. Those upgrades matter on sunlit ridgelines where older AMOLED watches washed out and map stutter killed navigation flow when you needed a turn.

Pro is the first fēnix with a full titanium watch case via nano-molding. Pro AMOLED peaks at up to 3,000 nits. The 51 mm Pro is the first 1.5-inch AMOLED on the line—about 15% more area versus fēnix 8 without growing the case footprint, per Garmin. New training software

Software extras include Garmin Epic multi-activity stories in Connect, stamina zones/curve, and expanded rucking and indoor rowing metrics. For trail runners and hybrid athletes, the stamina curve and faster maps matter more than another sleep-score widget. If you already live in Garmin Connect, fēnix 9 is an incremental flagship refresh with real outdoor hardware gains—not a software rebrand of last year’s watch.
