September 2026 Android Drop: Gemini remembers your items and eases motion sickness

Google is rolling out its September 2026 Android Drop in early September, adding several practical features to Android and Gemini, as detailed by Android Authority and Google's official blog.

Gemini remembers where your stuff is

With Find Hub, Gemini can now store item locations. Just say “Hey Google, remember in Find Hub that I put my passport in my bedroom drawer” — the location is saved (with an optional photo), then available anytime.

Guided Vision and motion sickness

Gemini Live Guided Vision lets you share your camera to hear descriptions of what's in front of you: reading fine print on a label, a menu in a dimly lit restaurant, or locating objects. It's available via Accessibility shortcuts or the TalkBack menu on Android 9 and up.

Motion Assist displays on-screen cues that follow the vehicle's movement to reduce motion sickness. Google is also adding Live Updates, similar to iOS Live Activities.
